Hotel lockout at Kleopatra Beach — emergency guide

Kleopatra is Alanya’s busiest hotel strip. Card readers fail, doors slam behind you in the corridor, and reception goes dark after midnight. Here is what guests and night staff should do.

Step 1 — Reception or security: many D400 hotels have a night porter with a master or spare mechanical key. Give them 10 minutes before calling outside help.

Step 2 — WhatsApp Adam with hotel name, room number and booking surname. Typical arrival Kleopatra → 15–20 minutes. English and German common for front-desk coordination.

Step 3 — Stay in the lobby or with security. Adam can work with staff on video call so the opening is documented. No legitimate locksmith opens a room without guest ID or staff present.

For hotel managers: add Adam’s WhatsApp to your emergency contact sheet. Faster than waiting for a maintenance contractor from Antalya. Emergency PDF cards for lobbies are available on request.

Common Kleopatra locks: card cylinders and standard Euro barrels. Electronic systems tied to PMS software may need vendor codes — Adam will say in the first message if it is outside mobile tools tonight.

WhatsApp Adam

Will opening the room damage the hotel lock?

Most hotel cylinders open without drill. If not, replacement cost is agreed before work.

Can the hotel call the locksmith for me?

Yes. Staff can WhatsApp Adam with the guest on line. Same price transparency rules apply.

I only speak Russian — is that OK?

Yes. Adam handles Russian on WhatsApp — common for Kleopatra guests in summer.
